Alexis Manning MS, OTR/L, CLT

Alexis grew up in the Finger Lakes area of New York. After high school, Alexis first pursued the Human Services field and obtained her Associate of Science in Human Services from Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, New York.

Immediately after graduation, Alexis applied and was accepted to D’Youville College and began her education as an Occupational Therapist. Throughout school, Alexis found her niche in the OT world when she began her first Level II Fieldwork with her now partner, Philip, in the specialty field of Lymphedema Management.

After graduation from D’Youville with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy, and after passing her state board exam, Alexis got certified by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

Since then, Alexis has been working to achieve her dream of being a business owner, and also fulfill her passion for helping those affected by Lymphedema. In her free time, Alexis enjoys reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.

Philip Wojtas MS, OTR/L, CLT, ALM

Philip Wojtas is a native of Western New York. After serving 12 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer he decided to head back to Buffalo with his wife and two daughters to pursue a new career as an Occupational Therapist. While completing his clinicals he was educated on the complexities involved with the management of the Lymphatic System and the rest was history.

Philip graduated with his Masters in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College and also holds a certification in Complete Decongestive Therapy, and a second certification in Advanced Lymphatic Management from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.

While working full-time at the VA hospital, he pursued his vision of creating a clinic that specializes in lymphatic management with his former student and now business partner, Alexis.
